A balanced diet can’t be emphasised enough for a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle can be attained by maintaining a balance diet based on whole foods that meet all the essential nutrient needs required by the body. A proper meal plan based on excellent nutrition helps to attain ideal body weight and reduce the risk of many chronic diseases that are attributed to lifestyle like diabetes, cardiovascular disease and many other types of chronic illnesses.

Functional Medicine model

My approach as a nutritional therapist is based on the Functional Medicine model which seeks to address the root cause of your illness rather than addressing just your symptoms. In my practice I take a comprehensive look into your health history and take an in-depth look into your diet and lifestyle choices. Dietary interventions alongside targeted medicinal herbs and nutritional supplementation as needed can help bring your body back in to balance. It is always worth remembering that given the right environment, the body will always try to heal!
